The word used in this sense/meaning/context here, This is a sure one, because none of the things Christ spoke of, such as the World Wide Preaching Work (which lasts 3.5 years only), The Great Tribulation, The Return of Christ in Visible Glory, and The Gathering of the Elect, none of "these things” occurred after the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus in 70 A.D. They are still future events.
The promise by Christ is therefore that, ‘’this Generation”, “Nation”, or “Family”will indeed be preserved until “these things” as promised by Christ be wonderfully fulfilled, events which have not occurred yet, events which are still future, though very near to be sure, as will also be the manifestation of the True Sons of God. We must also remember that when Christ spoke these things which are still future, it was his Brothers, the chosen ones, the Holy Ones of God whom he was addressing.
Conclusion
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society does not fulfil any of these categories whatsoever, and this is contrary to what they personally believe and teach.
Why would the Almighty God Jehovah, the God of Israel choose an American based fanatic fundamentalist religion such as the Watchtower to be his chosen representative?Especially when that self appointed representatives hands are stained with blood, prophesied falsely, been the cause of deaths of 1000's of individuals due to faulty reasoning on blood, divide the families of many which they say is done out of love for God, and have not had one thing right since day one?
They are a Religion who has instead written themselves into scripture and appointed themselves to a position which does not belong to them. Why would God do that? Why would he appoint a Religion like this to do these things in his name?
The truth is he hasn't appointed them, nor has he chosen or even spoken to them.
Watchtower has appointed itself as the discreet slave, and their actions are far by discreet and faithful to be sure. They have written themselves a blank cheque as it were, the same as false Watchtower Prophet Robert King.
They are the chosen slave (they claim), (who according to their own doctrine), from 1914 onwards would be the appointed slave that would see all the things Christ spoke of, and they would not pass away until all these things had happened, they are the slave who are now 140 years of age.
If the average of a Generation is indeed 30, and average life span of a person is about 70, then this Watchtower Generation should have passed away between 1954-1964. We are now at the tail end of 2010, the Watchtower Generation is now around 140 years of age, and the Christ they preach who became King in 1914 still fails to act.
Decide for yourselves between what Gods word the Bible says and that of the now crumbling and fading whitewash of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York.
